What are Rimless Ceramics? - 11/03/2020

A toilet is not something of great interest to most, you probably don’t know much about them or how they work – nor should you ever really need to. It’s for this reason why a lot of people don’t know much about rimless toilets but, we are here to change that! Looking at new and innovative ways to design toilets, a modern rimless design is something worth learning a little more about and considering for your bathroom.

For those not familiar, a rimless toilet (like in our Grace range) is just what it sounds like -a toilet without a rim at the top of the bowl, as simple as that. Now, at first you may not think anything of this other than it looks more aesthetically pleasing but, rimless ceramics have much more to offer than what is on the surface.

A rimless toilet gives a stunning minimalist feel and looks neater thanks to the lack of rim, (without the additional ledge the toilet looks more compact and less bulky). Easier to clean, rimless ceramics are less likely to harbour bacteria and limescale as the rim is often missed when cleaning. Rimless ceramics mean you no longer need to worry about forgetting any spots that can be hard to reach, making your bathroom cleaning process that little bit quicker and easier, win win.

Thanks to the direct flush from the toilet, rimless ceramics are not only more hygienic and easier to clean but, also deliver a faster and quieter flush. Who doesn’t want a toilet that not only looks pretty but, that is also quiet? Great for if you need to pop to the toilet in the middle of the night!

At Hudson Reed, our Grace toilet features a rimless design, this wall hung pan is not only stylish but is perfect for space saving and the wall hung pan makes the perfect minimalist look. Manufactured to the highest standard, our ceramics come with a reliable 5-year guarantee (unless otherwise stated) to bring you peace of mind so you know when you opt for a Hudson Reed toilet, it is made to last.
